Winter 2007   MINERAL SPECIMEN PRICE LIST

The following list of minerals contains those items currently in stock unless denoted so.  Those items indicated as (Not in Stock) are listed because they often are encountered as raw inventory is processed.  Please inform me if you are interested in any of those items and I will place you on a notification list when I find them.

My price list is somewhat unusual in that the difficult species in each specimen are electron microprobe confirmed,  marked and photographed  (and XRD confirmed when required).    In many cases this is first time that authenticated discrete grains of some species have been offered.  In the area of rare minerals I feel that these specimens represent the highest quality small grain materials offered.

PRICING  The prices indicated are in U.S. dollars and are presented according to the format: size/price.

DEALER DISCOUNTS A dealer discount of 15% is offered on most items.   Volume purchases of some items may qualify for a greater discount.

SIZE DESCRIPTION  The specimen sizes are indicated as abbreviations. MM = micromount:  under 1.5 cm TN = thumbnail: 1.5 to 3.0 cm MIN = minature; 3.0 cm to 7.0 SC = small cabinet. over 7.0 cm  MPS = mini polished section     (.25" or 6mm diameter mount) SPS = small polished section     (0.5" or 13mm diameter mount) LPS = large polished section   (greater than 0.5").

TERMS  Customers in good standing may receive shipments on approval. The full amount of the invoice is due upon receipt of the order.  New customers should send payment with their order.

Preferred payment is via a personal check against a U.S. bank.   International money orders are also accepted, and arrangement for bank wire transfers can be made.  A $10 charge is incurred when using the latter.   I'm sorry that I don't offer bank card payments or PayPal.
